?Bogdan Popescu is responsible for METRO Cash & Carry Romania strategic projects since 2009.Before joining Metro, Bogdan worked 15 years for Shell Group occupying various positions in Romania, the Netherlands and Spain and has built an extensive experience in logistics, sales and operations.One of the most important projects that he manages in Romania METRO refers to the extension of this company through the new store format – METRO point. Also, Bogdan is charge with the projects coordination in Central and Eastern Europe (for the time being the new format is implemented in 4 markets in the region).Bogdan Popescu has a degree in engineering (aircraft engines) and Law and in 2001 graduated from the EMBA program Asebuss.
