Diana Scăunașu is leading the Client Service team of GfK Romania Consumer Panel Services department.
Diana is being part of GfK since 2006 and she is responsible for the accounts of major players on the Romanian FMCG market. The experience gained by working with different FMCG categories helps her in providing clients with professional recommendations on future marketing activities, on the background of a continuously changing consumer behavior.
Diana has graduated the Academy of Economics Studies, Bucharest, Market Research specialization and now she is attending a MBA program at Sheffield University in Great Britain.
She enjoys playing the piano in the free time and travelling across Italy.

Presentation summary: Brands are facing a new challenging landscape with discounters and modern proximity growing, while big boxes are under the weather. There is also a higher pressure on people’s income with inflation up once again & down-trade creeping in making it more difficult to preserve volume. On the other hand, there are brands which continue to grow despite this context. We will focus on the major FMCG market changes and what drew them in terms of purchase behavior, while learning from the stories of the most dynamic brands.
