Competition Council

Bogdan Chiritoiu was appointed Chairman of the Competition Council in May 2009 for a term of five years , after an experience of four years as Councillor of State in the Presidential Administration .
Born in 1970, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, ” Carol Davila ”University of Bucharest, he attended master classes at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and theCentralEuropeanUniversityinBudapest. He has a doctorate in economics from theAcademyofEconomic Studies, International Economic Relations profile.

Between 2005 – 2009 was Councillor of State in the Presidential Administration , the Departments of Economic and Social Policy and Planning and policy analysis .  He was coordinator on social policy and crisis report on the UNDP Human Development Report, he was a Government consultant for European Integration at the European Institute and Advisor to the Minister of Justice. In parallel, he activated in the higher education at the Faculty of Political Sciences ( FSP ) , theUniversityofBucharest.

Bogdan Chiritoiu has extensive experience in public policy and project management, holding positions as Phare project coordinator (coordinator of projects in conflict management training seminars for candidates and young political activists , etc. . ) Access program evaluator, consultant to the European Commission Delegation forEuropeprogram , Phare program evaluator , Social Services , local expert ( ADR7 ) to promote the campaign Phare – Human Resource Development scheme .
